From zero to 12,000 units in 47 days.

Context: A New York label required a full womenswear production run ahead of Fashion Week within a fixed deadline.

Constraint: Compressed timeline with no room for sequential sampling and production delays.

Intervention: Factory selection was based on immediate capacity and category alignment. Sampling and approvals were run in parallel, with pre-approved materials to remove sourcing delays. Production was split across lines to reduce bottlenecks while maintaining inline quality control.

Outcome: Production completed within timeline without deviation in quality standards.

002 — Scale — AW23

The same quality, just more of it.

Context: A menswear brand needed to scale production volume significantly without altering product quality.

Constraint: Increased output risked inconsistency across batches and QC deviation.

Intervention: Production was redistributed across factories with matched capabilities. Construction processes were standardised, and line balancing was implemented to maintain uniform output. QC protocols were retained at original thresholds and monitored inline.

Outcome: Volume increased without impacting consistency or rejection rates.

First kidswear capsule. Executed without rework.

Context: A DTC brand entered kidswear and required end-to-end execution from development to bulk production.

Constraint: New category with strict compliance requirements and no prior production benchmarks.

Intervention: Designs were translated into production-ready specifications with compliance built in early. Sampling cycles were minimised through fit block alignment, and factory selection was based on prior experience in regulated categories

Outcome: Programme delivered without QC failures or rework cycles.

004 — Cost Engineering Programme

Same design. Improved cost structure.

Context: A knitwear programme was exceeding target cost, affecting margin viability.

Constraint: Retail pricing was fixed, limiting flexibility on final cost.

Intervention: The product was reverse-engineered - fabric GSM reduced while maintaining hand feel, pattern adjusted to optimise yield, and marker efficiency improved. Trim components were rationalised and sourced directly to reduce markup.

Outcome: Cost reduced without altering visual or functional attributes.

005 - Womenswear Collection Adjustment

Brought back within target without redesign.

Context: A woven womenswear collection exceeded open-to-buy constraints at sampling stage.

Constraint: Design intent needed to be preserved while reducing cost.

Intervention: Fabric composition was adjusted to a blended alternative with similar drape. Construction complexity was reduced by simplifying detailing, and production was consolidated into a single factory to eliminate coordination overhead.

Outcome: Collection aligned with cost targets and moved forward to production.

Reduced cost through system alignment.

Context: A denim programme was fragmented across multiple factories, leading to cost variation and inconsistent output.

Constraint: Decentralised production increased overhead and reduced efficiency.

Intervention: Production was consolidated into fewer specialised units. Fabric sourcing was centralised, wash processes standardised, and marker planning optimised to reduce material usage.

Outcome: Improved consistency with a lower per-unit cost structure.
